While gazing at the night sky, have you ever wondered if we are alone in the Universe? Or perhaps around one of the stars you see, there might be a world similar to ours where life thrives? Can extremophile organisms we find on Earth set reasonable expectations of what life we might find on other planets?Armed with big telescopes and the knowledge of the evolution of life on Earth, scientists have been looking for answers of these and many other questions.
